What is the Modulift Spreader Beam System?

Spreader bar sizes currently range from 2 tonnes up to 2000 tonnes capacity, and spans of 200mm (8") up to 44 metres (145ft).

Benefits:

Pin-ended Design - This spreader bar design has many advantages over the traditional 'fixed end' spreader. Bending in the beam is kept to a minimum, therefore much lighter weight sections can be used, and longer spans are also achievable for a given beam.

Portability - Spreader beams assembled as simple spreaders, frames or complex rigs can be broken down into single components for transportation. For example, a 11m (40ft) beam could be transported to site at a maximum length of 4m (12ft), which is the longest strut. Handling / logistics is therefore much simpler and cost-effective.

Economical lifting equipment service - Fixed spreader beams are single purpose and cannot be easily re-used for different spans. The Modulift system allows 100mm to 1 metre span increments, depending on the size of the Modulift beam. For users requiring multipurpose spreader beams, the Modulift system is a cost effective spreader bar solution.
